I stopped after May 3. :-) I really love the colors.

Angel Wings Plus
Finished this weekend, the Angel Wings Shawl. I'm calling it Angel Wins "Plus" because I added some rows from a sampler stitch pattern when I got bored with the Angel Wings. Ended up with the granny shells rows specified in the Angel Wings pattern and used one of the two options for edging from that pattern. I chose the picot one. The colored yarn rows I added I stole from the basket of yarns I have for the Weather-than that has been abandoned for about two months.

WIP-Angel Wings Shawl
Getting bored with the rows of plain dc, I looked up a sampler pattern in my Adobe file and am substituting "stacked grannies" and "stacked shells" for some of the dc rows, adding increase in the center spaces as established from the angel wings pattern.

Continuing the Deconstruction and Recycle
Started this morning, an Angel's Wings Shawl using more of the Bernat Satin yarn in Fern and Soft Fern. This is the yarn I'm repurposing from the Vector of Change Shawl I'm unraveling. I think I could probably get three shawls out of this. One down, two to go?

Done!
The Alpine Pineapple Shawl. Love the alternative fringe. Still have a lot of the Fern color yarn. Now I get to search for another project, or finish a UFO.

Experiment
Experimenting this a.m. with a dangle fringe for the Alpine Shawl. I'm doing a less dangly of the version in the pattern. I love it, but it may be a little tedious. Can I tolerate it?

Started Yesterday :-)
The pattern is the Alpine Pineapple Shawl. H hook. It's similar to the Sidewalk Shawl on redheart.com, but has a different edging, a very strange edging. I will probably make fringe in the Fern color. I'm using the Light Fern for the body of the shawl.
For the yarn, see the "Rewinding" post.

Rewinding
I was obsessed with doing this. I was determined not to be defeated by the pattern. But when it was done, I hated it. It is huge, ungainly. I don't want it. But it has a huge amount of yarn trapped in it. I unraveling it.
Pattern: Frank O'Randle Vector of Change
Yarn: Bernat Satin in Fern and Light Fern.
There's a lot of yarn here 😳. What am I going to do with this? What a waste of time.

The Sun'll Come Up Tomorrow
I made this shawl about two weeks ago and turned it in June 1 to the Prayer Shawl Ministry. The pattern is the Calypso Shawl. This is Lion Brand Ice Cream yarn in Lemon Shawl, the same yarn I'm using for the baby hat and sweater I started making today. I hope the recipient of the shawl gets the same message I got from the yarn, "The Sun'll Come Up Tomorrow."
New Work In Progress
Started a new project today using this yarn, which I purchased about a month ago, just because I couldn't resist it. It is Ice Cream Big Scoop by Lion Brand. The color is Lemon Swirl. A couple of days ago, The Crochet Crowd posted on Facebook a pattern for a baby hat and sweater. Then the next day a crocheter posted a picture of the set she did in a color-changing yarn like this in the colors pink, lime green and white. It prompted me to start mine in this yarn. Got the hat done already.
